Imagine if you can, twelve days devoted to marketing your business. Not simply advertising the business, but more importantly, establishing the marketing direction and marketing outlets that will move your business forward and help it grow. OK, maybe you only have to spend PART of the day on marketing. Even if you only gave twelve hours, you’d be better off.
On the first day of marketing, a savvy small business owner might collect a copy of every piece of printed information about the business: business cards, letterhead, envelopes, invoices, labels, ads, brochures…the list is almost endless.
Lay them all out on a table and take a good look.
Do they offer the same message?
Is that logo the same?
Is the contact information readable and accurate on each piece?
Finally, do they look like they belong together?
If you see a hodgepodge of colors and type faces, make a to-do list for upgrading your promotional materials.
Stay tuned for Day 2!
